Crowd-pleasing rib-eye roast on the bone, tender and juicy with just five simple ingredients. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (4 pound) bone-in rib-eye roast
  • sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients and preheat the oven to a piping hot 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  • Combine the rich flavors of butter and garlic by blending them together in a bowl.
  • Using a sharp knife, score the rib eye all over. Massage the butter mixture onto the meat and season generously with salt and pepper. Arrange the rib eye in a roasting pan with the fat side facing up.
  • Roast in the oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
  • Lower the heat to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C and cook the rib eye until it's perfectly reddish-pink and juicy in the center, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for medium when it reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
