Elevate your steak with a garlic and rosemary baste, then stir in white beans and mushrooms for a delicious twist. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 600 g piece of rib-eye steak (ideally 5cm thick), fat removed
  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 350 g mixed mushrooms
  • 1 x 600 g jar of quality white beans
Instructions:
  • Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Season the steak with sea salt and black pepper, then sear on all sides for 10 minutes until desired doneness, turning with tongs. While the steak cooks, prep the rosemary, garlic, and mushrooms. Once the steak is cooked, set it aside. Reduce heat to medium and crispen the rosemary for 30 seconds, then add garlic and mushrooms, cooking for 8 minutes until golden. Add beans, red wine vinegar, and simmer for 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning. Place the steak on top and pour over any juices. Serve sliced, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
