Butter sautéed savoy cabbage with cream and nutmeg - a simple and comforting side dish for the whole family.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head savoy cabbage, sliced
  • 0.25 cup heavy whipping cream, or to taste
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Add crisp cabbage to a pot, generously cover with cold water, then bring to a vigorous boil. Let it cook for precisely 1 minute once boiling.
  • Rinse cabbage under cold water, then gently squeeze until dry.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in cabbage, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Cook until cabbage is tender and creamy, about 2 to 4 minutes.
