Easy Taco-Stuffed Party Sub

Revamp your Taco Tuesday by creating quick and delicious taco sandwiches using warm French bread. Offer a range of toppings for a fun and customizable meal that will impress your guests. Ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend (4 oz)
  • 1 loaf French bread, split lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Toppings, as desired: shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, cilantro, avocado or guacamole, sour cream, salsa
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with foil.
  • Prepare the beef and taco seasoning mix as directed on the package. Mix in half of the cheese. Spread the beef mixture on the bottom half of the bread; top with the remaining cheese. Cover with the top half of the bread and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the bread is lightly crispy on the outside. Cut the bread into 4 to 8 pieces and serve with your choice of toppings.
