Try this delicious upside-down pizza casserole with savory mushrooms, flavorful ground beef, and briny olives - a new family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 0.25 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Sear beef in a hot skillet until golden and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove excess grease.
  • Combine the sauce, mushrooms, and olives with the beef in the skillet. Cook and stir for about 2 minutes until heated through. Transfer the mixture to a 2-quart rectangular baking dish and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Enjoy!
  • Gently press down on each biscuit and place on top of the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are a beautiful golden brown, about 15-17 minutes.
