Weekend-worthy egg and sausage casserole - easy to make with eggs, sausage, crescent roll dough, and two cheeses!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Brown sausage in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat for 7 to 9 minutes until cooked through. Crumble into small pieces after draining.
  • Combine the beaten eggs, mozzarella, Cheddar, and oregano in a large bowl.
  • Place a layer of crescent roll dough at the base of the baking dish, followed by scattering crumbled sausage on top. Finally, drizzle the egg mixture over the sausage.
  • Bake in the oven preheated to perfection until a knife poked in the center emerges spotless, in just 25 to 30 minutes.
