15-Minute Egg Drop Ramen: Simple, Speedy, Delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons Thai-style seasoning blend
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 (3 ounce) packages chicken-flavored ramen noodles
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, combine chicken stock and water, then bring to a boil.
  • Take out approximately 1 cup of the hot liquid from the pot, then mix in the cornstarch until it's fully dissolved. Return the mixture to the pot and season with Thai seasoning and white pepper to taste.
  • Once the liquid reaches a boil, vigorously stir it in one direction. As soon as the whirlpool effect forms, gently pour in the eggs.
  • Lower the heat until the liquid is gently simmering, then add the ramen noodles (discard flavor packets unless desired for extra seasoning). Cook until noodles are tender and eggs are fully cooked, about 2 to 3 minutes.
