Delicious soft-boiled eggs and buttery toast soldiers for a comforting and satisfying breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 2 medium eggs, at room temperature
  • 0.5 teaspoon salted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 slice white bread
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with 1 inch of cold water. Boil over medium-high heat, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 2 minutes.
  • Butter the bread and cut into sticks, then slice the tops off the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Serve alongside bread sticks for dipping.
