Transform your breakfast with perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large eggs
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 teaspoons unsalted butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot and pour in 1 cup of water. Place a trivet or egg rack inside and arrange the eggs on top. Secure the lid, set the pressure valve to Sealing, and select high pressure for 3 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Let the pressure naturally release for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Loosely cover the valve with a kitchen towel. Use a wooden spoon or tongs to quickly move the valve from Sealing to Venting to release pressure. Remove the lid and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water for 2 minutes to halt the cooking process.
  • Toast the bread until golden brown, then generously spread with creamy butter and slice into delightful strips.
  • Drain the eggs, gently crack the tops with a spoon, remove the shells, season with salt and pepper, and enjoy with toast sticks for dipping.
