Elvis's favorite snack: peanut butter and banana - fit for a king.
Ingredients:
  • 6 thick slices white bread
  • 60g butter, at room temperature
  • 130g (1/2 cup) smooth peanut butter
  • 195.00 gm mashed banana (about 3 small bananas)
Instructions:
  • Evenly slather half of the bread slices with half of the butter.
  • Spread a generous 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter on each slice of bread, making sure to leave a stylish 1cm-wide border around the edges. Layer with slices of ripe banana and top with the buttered bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, melt two-thirds of the remaining butter until foaming. Place 2 sandwiches in the pan, butter-side up, and cook for 2 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the last sandwich and butter.
  • Slice the sandwiches diagonally for a beautiful presentation before serving.
