Indulgent banana nut bread with rich banana flavor and abundant walnuts - moist and dense loaves bursting with flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups mashed overripe bananas
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  • In a large bowl, gently sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine sugar and butter until creamy. Mix in bananas, eggs, and walnuts until fully incorporated.
  • Combine wet ingredients with the flour mixture until just mixed, then divide the batter evenly between the two pans.
  • Bake in the oven until a knife inserted into the crown of each loaf comes out clean, about 60-70 minutes.
  • Take the loaves out of the oven and allow them to cool in the pans for 5 minutes. Then, transfer them onto a cooling rack to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Enhance flavors by wrapping each loaf in aluminum foil to seal in moisture. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before slicing and serving.
