Ingredients:
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 6 (4 ounce) fillets cod
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and garlic for a burst of flavor. Bring to a boil, allowing the mixture to thicken through gentle stirring over approximately 10 minutes.
  • Place the cod fillets in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle half of the butter mixture over the fillets and sprinkle with lemon pepper before covering with foil.
  • Bake the fish in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until easily flaked with a fork, then drizzle with the remaining butter mixture before serving.
