Israeli-inspired fennel side dish with water, salt, and regular mustard.
Ingredients:
  • 4 fennel bulbs, trimmed and quartered
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
Instructions:
  • In a large deep skillet, arrange fennel quarters with cut sides facing up. Drizzle with olive oil and pour in chicken broth, honey, and wine. Season with mustard seed, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, turning occasionally.
