Elevate appetizers with store-bought pesto for a burst of Italian flavor in just five ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (from 17.3-oz package)
  • 1/4 cup basil pesto
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Allow the puff pastry to defrost at room temperature for 40 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Unwrap the pastry on a work surface. Brush pesto evenly over the entire pastry using a pastry brush, including the edges. Cut the pastry into 16 squares, then cut each square in half diagonally to make 32 triangles.
  • Prepare 2 large cookie sheets by lightly spraying them with cooking spray. Delicately place pastry wedges on the sheets and generously top with cheese and nuts.
  • Bake for 5 minutes at current temperature. Lower oven to 350°F and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are golden brown. Garnish wedges with fresh basil and serve warm.
