Inventive fettuccine made with pre-cooked sausage and roasted red bell peppers for amazing flavor. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
  • 1 cup whipping (heavy) cream
  • 1 teaspoon Creole or Cajun seasoning
  • 1 jar (7 ounces) roasted red bell peppers, drained
  • 1/2 pound fully cooked smoked sausage, cut in 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
Instructions:
  • Prepare and cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain well.
  • Once the fettuccine is underway, blend whipping cream, Creole seasoning, and bell peppers in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  • Pour the pepper mixture into a large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Add in the sausage and heat through without boiling.
  • Top fettuccine with sausage mixture and garnish with onions.
