Seasonal fig and ginger gratin with creamy white chocolate and cream cheese - a decadent flavor explosion!
Ingredients:
  • 12 ripe fresh figs, halved
  • 250g light block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 100g white baking chocolate, grated
  • 40.00 ml glacé ginger, finely chopped
  • 59.40 gm brown sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions:
  • Arrange the figs in either 1 large or 6 individual ovenproof gratin dishes.
  • Combine the cream cheese and egg until smooth, then mix in the chocolate and ginger. Spoon the mixture over each fig half and generously sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Grill until the sugar is melted and bubbling, and the cream cheese is golden and firm. Let it cool briefly before serving.
