Easy Filipino twist on corned beef and cabbage, blending Asian flavors with a classic Irish dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 Roma tomatoes, cubed
  • 0.33333334326744 small head cabbage, cored and cut into strips
  • 0.25 cup chicken stock, or more to taste
  • 1 (12 ounce) can corned beef
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter with oil. Sauté onion and garlic until onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.
  • Sauté cabbage until softened, approximately 5 minutes. Pour in a splash of chicken stock and simmer for about 3 minutes until heated through.
  • Combine the corned beef and cook until fully heated, ensuring the flavors meld together beautifully for approximately 10 minutes.
