Indulge in flavor-packed Filipino braised pork with a luscious sauce, perfect with fragrant jasmine rice!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
  • 2.5 pounds lean pork, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 pound small green beans, trimmed
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, mix vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and bay leaves. Add cubed pork, bring to a boil over high heat, then lower to a simmer. Cover and cook until pork is tender, about 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add green beans in the last 30 minutes if desired.
