Barbecued Pork Kebabs

Elevate picnics with Filipino pork kebabs marinated for 2 hours.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (4 pound) boneless pork loin, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • 10 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, soy sauce, onion, garlic, and black pepper in a large bowl and whisk together. Add the pork and mix well to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight for the best flavor.
  • Get your outdoor grill nice and hot, then brush the grate with a light coating of oil.
  • Skewer the pork and grill until fully cooked, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
