Succulent baked salmon with a bold molasses marinade featuring spicy undertones.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup cilantro
  • 0.25 cup molasses
  • 1.5 tablespoons hot pepper relish
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound salmon, with skin
Instructions:
  • In a blender, blend cilantro, molasses, relish, garlic, olive oil, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
  • 1. Marinate salmon in the molasses mixture in a glass baking dish for 15 minutes. Flip the salmon and refrigerate for another 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), then reveal the baking dish and gently place the salmon skin-side down in the dish.
  • Cook the fish in the preheated oven without covering it until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), which should take around 20 minutes.
