Transform sugar cookie mix into vibrant flower cookie pops for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pouches (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 1/4 teaspoon each red, yellow, green, blue and purple paste food color
  • 25 paper lollipop sticks
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and eggs in a medium bowl until dough forms. Divide dough into 5 equal portions and blend each with a different color of paste food color until fully combined.
  • Tear off 2-inch pieces of each colored dough. Combine dough pieces on a floured surface to form a large round, 1 inch thick. Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Use a 3-inch flower-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Place the cutouts on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Insert lollipop sticks halfway into the center of each cookie.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until firm. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and then transfer to cooling racks. Cool completely.
