Whip hot syrup into egg whites to create a light and fluffy meringue frosting for your cake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.33000001311302 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 egg whites
Instructions:
  • Combine the sugar, water, and cream of tartar in a saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is bubbly.
  • In a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl, beat egg whites and vanilla until foamy. Slowly pour in hot syrup while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form, about 7 to 10 minutes.
