Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets ready rolled shortcrust pastry, thawed
  • 100g macadamia pieces
  • 150g brazil nuts
  • 100g walnuts
  • 89.38 gm honey
  • pinch ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C. Mix macadamia pieces, brazil nuts, and walnuts with honey and a touch of ground cinnamon in a bowl. Ensure the nuts are evenly coated and let them sit.
  • Cut 4 rounds from shortcrust pastry using a 12cm-round cutter to yield 8 rounds. Spoon nut mixture onto the center of each pastry round, then gently fold the edges to partially enclose.
  • Place the tarts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown. Enjoy with a dollop of thick cream or a scoop of ice cream.
