Crispy air fryer French fries ready in under 30 minutes - a healthier way to enjoy delicious potato sticks!
Ingredients:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 medium russet potato
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt, or more to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C), and generously spray the basket with nonstick spray.
  • Slice the potato in half lengthwise and then into 1/4-inch slices. Cut the slices into 1/4-inch sticks. Place the fries in a bowl and thoroughly rinse under cold running water. Drain and gently pat dry with paper towels.
  • Place the dried fries in a bowl and drizzle with oil, tossing until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper, ensuring the fries are well coated. Spread the fries in a single layer in the prepared basket, being careful not to overlap. You can work in batches if needed.
  • Cook the fries in the preheated air fryer for 7 minutes. Flip them and continue cooking for an additional 7 to 9 minutes until they are golden brown and crisp. Once done, take them out of the air fryer and season with more salt to your liking.
