Creamy mashed potatoes infused with rich French onion dip and garlic, perfect for any meal from weeknights to holidays.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups water, or as needed to cover
  • 3 baking potatoes
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup French onion dip
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon milk, or to taste
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, enhance the flavor by dissolving 1 teaspoon of salt in water. Add potatoes and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer until the potatoes are tender, approximately 20 minutes. Drain and return the potatoes to the saucepan.
  • Blend together butter, French onion dip, and garlic with the potatoes using a potato masher or fork. Gradually incorporate milk into the mixture, adding 1 teaspoon at a time, until reaching your preferred potato texture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
