Creamy mascarpone cheese and cream cheese filling in golden tart shells topped with fresh fruit and zesty sweet glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries, or as needed
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries, or as needed
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and sliced, or as needed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.5 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 2 tart pans lightly.
  • Combine flour, butter, and sugar in a bowl, then use an electric mixer until well blended. Press the mixture evenly into the bottoms of the tart pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then allow to cool completely.
  • After letting the crusts cool, use an electric mixer to blend cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon until creamy. Spread this delightful mixture over the cooled crusts. Finally, decorate your tart with a colorful arrangement of strawberries, blackberries, and kiwis.
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until mixture becomes clear and thickened, approximately 2 minutes. Allow glaze to cool completely before using.
  • Brush the entire top of each tart lightly with the glaze using a pastry brush.
