Make homemade semolina pasta by combining flour, salt, eggs, and olive oil for a delightful experience.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups semolina flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • In a large bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, semolina flour, and a pinch of salt. Create a well in the center of the flour mixture on a clean surface. Add eggs and olive oil into the well. Gently whisk eggs with a fork, gradually combining with flour. Once too thick, knead the dough with your hands.
  • Knead dough for 8 to 12 minutes until smooth and elastic, using semolina as needed to prevent sticking. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough to your preferred thickness using a pasta machine or a rolling pin. Cut it into your favorite noodle shape or use it to create delicious ravioli by filling it with your favorite ingredients.
  • Boil a big pot of lightly salted water. Cook pasta until al dente, about 1 to 3 minutes. Drain and mix with your preferred sauce.
