Fresh cilantro salsa, perfect for dipping or topping any Mexican dish. Enjoy with chips, eggs, or your favorite Mexican cuisine.
Ingredients:
  • 5 roma (plum) tomatoes
  • 3 serrano peppers
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.66666668653488 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
  • salt to taste
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, simmer roma tomatoes and serrano peppers in enough water to cover until soft, about 15 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine roma tomatoes, serrano peppers, onion, cilantro, and garlic. Blend for about 30 seconds or until you reach your preferred consistency. Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl, then season with salt to taste.
