Crispy dill pickle slices fried to perfection in peanut oil - a deliciously crunchy snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (32 ounce) jar sliced dill pickles, drained
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for deep-frying
Instructions:
  • Combine the egg, milk, 1 tbsp flour, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. In another bowl, mix the rest of the flour with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C in a deep fryer or heavy deep skillet. Dip pickle slices in the milk mixture, then coat them in the flour mixture. Repeat for a double coating.
  • Gently add pickles to hot oil, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Fry in batches until golden brown and they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
