Frisee lettuce + sweet & tangy warm bacon dressing = Delicious combo!
Ingredients:
  • 1 head frisee lettuce - washed, dried, and torn into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallot
  • 2 tablespoons real bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon red wine
Instructions:
  • Fill a beautiful bowl with fresh frisee lettuce.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm up 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook shallot until soft, for about 2 minutes. Stir in bacon bits, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, red wine, sugar, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well and simmer on low heat until the dressing is heated through.
  • Drizzle the warm bacon dressing over the frisee and toss well to ensure each leaf is coated perfectly. Serve promptly to enjoy at its best.
