Indulge in the trendy and refreshing frosé now!
Ingredients:
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 250g strawberries, hulled, chopped
  • 750ml bottle rosé wine
  • 82.50 ml strawberry liqueur
  • 250.00 ml chilled soda water
  • Extra halved strawberries, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar in 1 cup of water, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil, then reduce to low and simmer without stirring for 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  • Add fresh, juicy strawberries to a blender and blend until velvety smooth, incorporating a splash of water if necessary. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a spacious jug. Combine with sugar syrup and wine. Transfer the delightful concoction into a 2-liter metal container. Allow to freeze overnight for a delectable treat (refer to notes for guidance).
  • Take the container out of the freezer and use a fork to create large ice crystals by flaking the mixture.
  • In a jug, mix the liqueur and soda water together. Pour the mixture into serving glasses evenly. Top with frosé and extra strawberries. Serve right away.
