Frozen smoothie packs

Create grab-and-go smoothie packs in freezer: berry bliss, tropical treat, green meanie flavors. Ideal for quick healthy breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
  • Water
  • 6 pre-frozen natural yoghurt ice cubes (6 tbsp)
  • 3 large strawberries, chopped
  • 62.50 ml blueberries
  • 2.00 banana, peeled, chopped
  • 20.00 gm rolled oats
  • 0.63 gm ground cinnamon
  • 250ml (1 cup) milk
  • 3 pre-frozen avocado ice cubes (3 tbsp)
  • 1/2 mango, peeled, chopped
  • 125.00 ml chopped fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, chopped
  • 1/2 banana, peeled, chopped
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
  • 250ml (1 cup) unsweetened almond or soy milk
  • 1 kiwifruit, peeled, chopped
  • 20g baby spinach leaves
  • 2 pre-frozen peanut butter ice cubes (2 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder
  • 250ml (1 cup) coconut water
Instructions:
  • Label a freezer bag. Combine all ingredients, excluding milk and coconut water, for each smoothie in the bag. Remove air and seal tightly. Freeze for up to 1 month.
  • Thaw the bag in the refrigerator overnight for best results or let sit at room temperature for 20 minutes to soften.
  • Transfer the contents of the bag into a blender, pour in milk or coconut water, and blend until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding a bit of water if needed.
