Create a delicious and unique dish with this untested member recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 82.50 ml plain flour
  • 74.25 gm sugar
  • 1.00 gm baking powder
  • 750.00 ml dried fruit
  • 375.00 ml nuts
  • 1 egg
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 160C and prepare a 20cm x 20cm tin by lining it with baking paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  • Coarsely chop the fruit and nuts, then mix them in with the flour blend.
  • Combine beaten egg and fragrant vanilla with the dry ingredients, blending until fully incorporated. Press down firmly into a baking tin using dampened fingers.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes until the edges are slightly golden and the center is set. Cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
