Delicious mixed berry and apple pie topped with ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 apple - peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 0.5 cup sliced rhubarb
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 (15 ounce) package pastry for a 9-inch double crust pie
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine the apples, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and rhubarb in a bowl. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle sugar over the fruit, and gently toss to evenly coat.
  • Prepare a 9-inch pie pan with pie pastry. Fill the pan with apple mixture, top with the remaining pastry, seal the crusts by pinching and crimping, then cut air holes into the top of the pastry.
  • Bake until the crust turns golden and the fruit becomes tender and starts bubbling, about 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
