Satisfy kids with fun SpongeBob marshmallow cereal bars - perfect for an afternoon treat!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
- 6 cups SpongeBob SquarePants Fruity Splash™ cereal
- Square and star cookie cutters
- Candy eyes
- Black decorating gel
- White decorating icing
Instructions:
- Prepare a 9-inch square pan by spraying it with cooking spray. In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on High for 30 to 45 seconds until melted and smooth when stirred. Mix in the cereal thoroughly. Using greased hands, gently press the mixture into the prepared pan. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Use cookie cutters to cut the bars into square and star shapes.
- Create adorable SpongeBob and Patrick faces by adorning the bars with candy eyes and black decorating gel, referring to the photo for guidance. Store the bars tightly covered to maintain freshness.
