Indulge in a delicious fudge-filled dessert combining ice cream, cookies, and cake. With Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ chocolate fudge cake mix, you can create this decadent treat in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can or jar (16 oz) hot fudge topping, warmed
  • 2 cups chopped Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies (20 cookies)
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, letting it hang over two opposing sides. Grease or spray only the bottom of the foil.
  • Combine cake mix, butter, and eggs in a large bowl until well blended (batter will be thick). Use greased fingers to spread the batter in a pan evenly. Bake for 18 to 21 minutes until the surface is dry and no longer shiny. Run a knife along the sides of the cake to loosen it. Allow it to cool completely in the pan for about an hour.
  • Cover the cake with the luscious warmed fudge topping, then generously sprinkle 1 cup of the chopped cookies over the top. Place it in the freezer to set for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Evenly layer the ice cream on top of the cookies. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until solid. Sprinkle with 1 cup of chopped cookies. Allow to sit for 15 to 20 minutes before serving. For easier cutting, use the foil to lift the dessert out of the pan. Keep covered in the freezer.
