Fusilli with Grape Tomatoes and Sausage

Spicy Italian sausage, pasta, greens, and grape tomatoes combine for a vibrant and speedy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (7.75 ounce) package DOLE® Extra Veggie™ with Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 links hot Italian sausage, cooked and chopped in bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup dry fusilli pasta or rotini pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 1 pinch Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Halve grape tomatoes after gently removing them from the pouch. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook garlic and sausage in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes until garlic is softened. Add salad blend and tomatoes, saute for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the salad blend begins to wilt.
  • Combine the cooked pasta and broth in the pot and stir until everything is heated through. Season generously with salt and pepper to your liking, then finish by sprinkling with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
