Savory ground beef patties filled with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and shredded potatoes for a deliciously surprising twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large potato, peeled and shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill until it's piping hot.
  • Combine the potatoes, cheese, and mushrooms in a medium bowl.
  • Mix ground beef and onion soup mix in a large bowl, shape into 6 large burger patties. Create a pocket in each patty, fill with a potato mixture, and seal.
  • Prepare the grill by brushing the grate with oil. Grill the burgers over high heat for 5 minutes on each side, until they are well done. Serve the hot burgers immediately.
