Indulge in garlic bread, herb butter bread, or capsicum butter bread - the choice is yours!
Ingredients:
  • 1 small baguette
  • 250.00g unsalted butter, softened
  • 62.50 ml parsley leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 250.00 ml mixed chopped fresh herbs
  • 3 eschallots, peeled, chopped
  • 100g bought chargrilled capsicum
  • 250.00 ml grated parmesan
  • 250g unsalted butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Combine the ingredients for your chosen butter in a food processor until well mixed. Shape the mixture into a log on a piece of aluminum foil using a knife or spatula. Roll the foil around the log and twist the ends to seal. Freeze until needed.
  • Begin by preheating the oven to 180°C. Then, chill the butter in the fridge for 10 minutes. Proceed by slicing the baguette crossways into 2cm slices, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Unwrap the decadent butter and slice it into delicate 1/2cm pieces. Nestle a slice of this luscious butter between each slice of bread. Embrace this bundle of comfort by wrapping it in aluminum foil, secure the ends by twisting, and let it bake for 10 minutes. Unveil the golden treasure and bake for an additional 2 minutes to achieve the perfect crispness.
