Juicy buttermilk roast chicken coated in garlic potato flakes and Parmesan cheese for a taste of Southern comfort with every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (7.6 ounce) package dry garlic potato flakes
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 (6 ounce) pieces of chicken, skin removed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Start by pouring buttermilk into a shallow bowl. Then, mix potato flakes and Parmesan cheese in a large resealable plastic bag by shaking well. Dip a piece of chicken in the buttermilk before placing it in the bag. Seal the bag and shake until the chicken is nicely coated. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet and repeat the process with the remaining pieces.
  • Roast chicken in the oven until tender and golden brown, for 45 to 60 minutes.
