Elevate your prime rib roast with a flavorful marinade of olive oil, garlic, black pepper, and thyme for a gourmet dining experience.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 pound) prime rib roast
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
Instructions:
  • Prepare all the ingredients needed for the marinade.
  • Combine crushed garlic, flavorful olive oil, a pinch of salt, a dash of pepper, and fragrant thyme in a small bowl.
  • Place the roast in a roasting pan with the fatty side facing up. Spread the mixture over the top of the roast and allow it to come to room temperature, for no more than 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  • Preheat the oven and bake the roast for 30 minutes. Then, lower the temperature and continue roasting for 60-75 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees F (57 degrees C) for medium rare.
  • Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes to lock in all the delicious juices before slicing.
