Garlic Romano Sweet Potato Fries

Garlicky sweet potato fries topped with Romano cheese, served with ranch dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sweet Hungarian paprika
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly grated Romano cheese
Instructions:
  • Cut the potatoes into 1/4 inch-thick strips and place them in a large resealable plastic bag. Add olive oil, garlic, and paprika to the bag, then seal it tightly. Shake the bag well to evenly coat the potatoes. Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with nonstick aluminum foil.
  • Arrange potato slices in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes. Gently flip the potatoes and top with cheese. Continue baking for an extra 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Take out of the oven and flip over once more. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Present with a side of your favorite dipping sauce like blue cheese or ranch.
