Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Microwave butter garlic sauce, toss with vermicelli and shrimp, top with Parmesan for a delicious meal in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound vermicelli pasta
  • 1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a generously oiled pot of water until perfectly cooked.
  • Boil the shrimp in salted water until they turn pink, about 3 to 5 minutes. Adjust the cooking time based on the shrimp size. Discard the tails and soak the shrimp in warm water.
  • Combine butter/margarine and minced garlic in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 45 seconds until melted, then give it a good stir.
  • After draining the pasta, place it in a serving dish. Mix in garlic butter and shrimp. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
