Creamy garlic mashed potatoes made with flavorful chicken broth, sour cream, chives, and butter.
Ingredients:
  • 2 quarts chicken broth
  • 5 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
Instructions:
  • 1. In a large pot, bring the flavorful chicken broth to a bubbling boil. Add the potatoes and simmer until they are tender yet slightly firm, which should take around 15 minutes. Once done, carefully drain the potatoes while keeping the delicious broth aside for later use.
  • Combine garlic, cream, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of broth, then mash until creamy. Stir in sour cream, chives, salt, and butter. Heat the mixture thoroughly and serve.
