Irresistible German chocolate cake flavors transformed into bite-sized cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2/3 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup from 1 tub (15.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Coconut Pecan Frosting
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In a large bowl, stir together cake mix, 2/3 cup coconut, oil, and eggs until dough comes together.
  • Form dough into 1-inch balls and space them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Gently press your thumb into the center of each cookie to create an indentation, ensuring not to reach the cookie sheet. Fill each indentation with a level 1/4 teaspoon of frosting.
  • Bake until set, 8 to 11 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before transferring to cooling racks. Sprinkle each cookie with 1/4 teaspoon of toasted coconut. Allow to cool completely for about 15 minutes. Store covered.
