One-pan comfort meal with savory sausage, tangy sauerkraut, and sweet apples. Simple and speedy stovetop dish.
Ingredients:
  • 6 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1 (32 ounce) package sauerkraut
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 pounds kielbasa sausage, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a deep skillet over medium heat, gently simmer the apples and sauerkraut until the apples start to soften, approximately 10 minutes. Stir in the brown sugar and kielbasa, then continue cooking until heated through, about 5 minutes.
