Celebrate Oktoberfest with bacon-wrapped German turkey meatballs.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 pounds ground turkey
  • 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages prosciutto (thin sliced)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, thoroughly mix ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, ketchup, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Form 2-tablespoon-sized portions of the turkey mixture into balls. Wrap each ball with speck and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven until fully cooked in the middle, approximately 25 minutes.
