Indulge in decadent Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookies with bittersweet chips for irresistibly delicious treats.
Ingredients:
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour, unsifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Ghirardelli® Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, both sugars using an electric mixer until light and creamy. Gradually add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla until fully incorporated on low speed.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture slowly, then mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Scoop out tablespoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until they turn golden brown, for 9 to 11 minutes, rotating the trays halfway through.
  • Transfer the dish from the oven to wire racks to cool.
