Giant Christmas Tree Cookie

Festive holiday treat perfect for creating special memories with loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • Betty Crocker™ green gel food color
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ cinnamon imperials and Betty Crocker™ decors, as desired for decorating
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a 15x10x1-inch pan with foil.
  • Combine the cookie mix, flour, softened butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Then, press the dough into the bottom of the pan using moistened fingers.
  • Bake until lightly golden brown, for 10 to 14 minutes. Allow to cool completely, for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Use a tree template to cut out a tree shape from the baked cookie. Simply place the template on the cookie and carefully cut around it with a sharp knife.
  • Mix food color into frosting to add a pop of color. Use the colorful frosting and candies to decorate the cookie tree.
