Quick and delicious pork stir-fry ready in a snap!
Ingredients:
  • 500g pork stir-fry strips
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 3cm piece ginger, finely grated
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 42.00 gm soy sauce
  • 40.00 ml Chinese rice wine (see note)
  • 7.50 gm cornflour
  • 2 bunches broccolini, trimmed, halved
  • steamed white rice, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a big bowl, mix together the pork, garlic, and ginger.
  • 1. Preheat wok until smoking hot. Add half of the oil and swirl to coat the wok. Cook half of the pork until browned, about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with the remaining oil and pork.
  • In a jug, mix together 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, and rice wine. In a small bowl, place cornflour. Slowly pour in the sauce mixture and stir until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  • Place the pork back into the wok with the broccolini. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add and mix in the cornflour mixture. Allow it to come to a boil. Continue to stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until the pork and broccolini are cooked through and the sauce thickens. Serve alongside some rice for a delicious meal.
